Mrs. Rivas is a bilingual and bicultural, licensed clinical social worker who has more than 13 years of experience in the non-profit sector. She has experience working with many different populations which includes LGBTQ+ people, substance addicts and victims of intimate partner violence. Since 2019, Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. She is currently offering Telehealth Behavioral Health services. Ms. Rivas, who is an active member of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team that works with postpartum and pre-natal women, provides trauma-informed therapy for adults. She is also a specialist in trauma treatment. Additionally, she offers Group and Individual Therapy and Medication-Assisted Treatment programs, referrals to specialty care Women's Support Group. Amanda volunteers for Best Friends Animal Society to assist homeless animals in finding homes. She is completely convinced of Best Friends' slogan, Save Them All, and has set out to contribute in helping Los Angeles become a no kill city.
